East Coast Greenland Camp - 2 Days
2 Days
September 4-6, 2026
We are thrilled to announce our 2nd Greenland Paddling and Traditional Skills Event on the East Coast! Join us for an unforgettable weekend at the end of summer on beautiful Prince Edward Island being held from September 4-6, 2026. Whether you’re new to using a Greenland paddle or a seasoned enthusiast, we’ve got some incredible mentors and instructors lined up for this weekend of connection, learning, and growth.

Those that have been using a Greenland paddle for years will have the opportunity to refine and improve their technique as well as work to develop a new roll or get insights into improving technique. If you’re curious about Greenland paddles and don’t know where to start, this is also the perfect place for you. Even if you’ve always used a contemporary-style paddle and want to explore the Greenland paddle as a way to expand your skills, this event has a place for you. Our goal is to bring paddlers together in a supportive and inclusive environment where we can all grow and learn from one another.
Over the course of this weekend, we’ll break down the traditional paddle’s use, demonstrating how it can help you master the roll and how those skills can be transferred to a Euro paddle as well. Learning to roll is more than just capsize recovery – it also enhances your balance, confidence, and edging skills in the kayak.

Whether you’re learning your first roll or looking to expand your repertoire, this event offers the perfect opportunity to progress. All of our instructors are highly trained, Paddle Canada-certified professionals with extensive experience in delivering exceptional instruction and rolling technique.
This intimate, weekend-long event being held September 4-6, 2026 will be held at the beautiful Nature Space Resort & Retreat Centre in St. Peter’s Harbour, PEI, and is limited to only 16 paddlers to ensure personalized attention. We can’t wait to share this incredible experience with you!
